Scheduling of driver time off requirements.  Discipline of fleet all drivers when needed, including release if necessary. Authorization of any expenditure to drivers for loads, including lumper fees, toll costs, weighing of loads at scales.  Coordinate with safety for drug screening, MVR, DOT Regulations, and physicals.  Also coordinate with customer service, training, payroll, and load planners for load and driver requirements. Follow-up of freight hauled, that may have hazmat requirements, insuring drivers are aware of criteria.  Customer Service-Contact customers for correct information on freight as needed if all information is not attained by Customer service. Contacting maintenance in case of any breakdown emergencies of equipment, so loads can be delivered as scheduled and equipment repaired.  Insured quick response to driver in case of an emergency, making sure driver and load were not compromised.  Sent routing and directions on all loads, to drivers, so completion of deliveries were as scheduled by receiver.  Tracking movements of trucks, which included the routing and miles traveled, to insure routing was followed and speed limit restrictions followed.  Made sure trucks were serviced when required, and governors checked per company policy requirements. Coordinated with maintenance on monthly truck service requirements.
